Teaching Soft Skills in Engineering Education: An European Perspective

Higher Education engineering students need to be prepared address sustainable solutions the complex problems faced in this century. They should become proficient problem solvers, able work multidisciplinary teams, ready adapt new technologies, and acquire knowledge skills when needed. Usually known as soft skills, these competences play a key role Engineering have being taught last two decades, greater or lesser extent, using different methodologies tools. This study reviews promotion teaching of across 5 European countries: Greece, Estonia, Denmark, Portugal Spain. It provides an overview best practices on countries, focusing also technological actually enable development skills. The purpose research is shed some light about how are presently difficulties involved that process.
